BEST EVER MEATLOAF 
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. water

In a large bowl, thoroughly mix 1/2 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg and salt. In 8x12 inch baking pan, firmly shape meat into 8x4 inch loaf. Bake at 350 degrees 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours until done. Spoon off fat, reserving 2 to 3 tablespoons drippings.

In 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, mix remaining soup, water and reserved drippings. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Spoon over meatloaf. Serves 8.
