MOUSSAKA 
1 lb. potatoes
1/2 c. oil
Salt and pepper
4 eggplant
2 onions
1 lb. ground beef
Pinches of: paprika, thyme, sage and rosemary
2 tbsp. mashed tomatoes
1/2 c. meat broth

BATTER - (Saliwka) :
2/3 c. yogurt
3 eggs
1/8 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. flour
Salt

Peel and slice potatoes, bake with salt in hot oil; remove from pan. Cut eggplants in half, salt and let stand for 1/2 hour. Bake the eggplant in oil until the inside can be easily removed. Fry the ground beef with diced onion. Add the eggplant and herbs. Stir while simmer frying.
