3/4 stick butter
3/4 c. water
1 env. onion soup
6-8 potatoes, scrubbed

Melt 3/4 stick butter with 3/4 cup water in microwave. Stir in envelope of onion soup. Slice potatoes 1/4 inch thick in 9x11 inch pan. Pour melted mixture over potatoes and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. 1 1/2 recipes for 9x13 pan. Double for large pan. 6 servings.
