I must've made this recipe 50 times in the past 20 years and it's always been a hit! I've made it with different meats and veggies. Sometimes, I chop up peppers and onion and lightly sauteed it before adding it. I've used different cheeses, etc. It's always come out perfectly! It might need cooked a few extra minutes. It is my go to for a quick meal.

Can I use less than the one cup of Bisquick in my quiche recipe?

Has anyone tried any other vegetable fillings besides mushrooms and broccoli? We wondered about spinach, yellow squash or zucchini. Thanks for the help!

I used jumbo eggs and a cup of almond milk. Added about 1/2 cup sour cream. Used leftover chopped steamed asparagus, raw red and green chopped onion, some feta and shredded cheese mix. Turned out visually appealing, great recipe to re-purpose leftover veggies!

I made corn beef, cabbage and red potatoes last night for St Patty's day. Made this quiche with the left over corn beef and red potatoes that I mashed, fried and then crumbled, threw some spinach and cheddar cheese in and served it up for dinner tonight. Husband and kids loved it. Way easy, I did have to cover loosely with tin foil and bake about 10 more minutes.

I double this recipe and use a 9x13 pan. I add diced ham. It's always a good meal. Other than adding the ham, I make it exactly as the recipe states. Always turns out great. Whole milk, skim milk or 2% milk. Whatever I have. I have even used powdered milk.

I make this all the time. Reduce milk to one cup whole milk and perfect every single time. Great old recipe

This is excellent ~ any way you fix it. I recently used leftover beef taco filling. Definitely a keeper.

I really like quiche but never tried to make one before. I followed this recipe almost to the letter (used 2% milk) left it in 40 minutes and it is perfect.

I decreased the milk to 1 and a half cups. Added feta cheese along with the cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder. Used zucchini, green peppers, carrots and onion, shredded. Amazing flavor and great density!

I stopped eating this just to review it. It turned out beautifully. I made mine with Extra Sharp Cheddar, Onions, Bell Peppers, Smoked Ham and tossed in some Pico De Gallo I had leftover from takeout. Delicious and comforting on a cold day when I am too tired to make anything else.

The milk to Bisquick ratio was fine for me, and I even had the added moisture of from the veggies as I sautéed them first.

Thank you for sharing.

I like to use half and half instead of milk. For fillings I used the prepared spinach artichoke dip and diced ham or bacon bits whatever I have available. I use swiss cheese but any cheese you enjoy works. Haven't had a failure yet.
