1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup coconut flakes
2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Cream butter and eggs together. Add remaining ingredients, one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes.
