CORN BURGER LOAF 
1/4 med. green pepper, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground chuck or stew beef
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 egg

On top of stove, saute vegetables over low heat until tender, but not browned in vegetable oil. Add meat and brown, keeping lumps as small as possible. Put corn meal in large mixing bowl. Mix in milk, egg, baking powder and salt. Stir until well blended. Pour meat and vegetable mixture into corn meal mixture and stir until well mixed. Pour into deep 9 inch baking pan. Bake in 450 degree oven until golden brown.
