For 4 servings you will need:

8 slices bacon, cut in half
1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, sharp
Dash cayenne pepper
8 cherry tomatoes, halved

Line a microsafe baking dish or plate with double layers of paper toweling.

Place bacon slices on dish. cover with paper toweling.

Microwave at HIGH power for about 3 minutes.

Prepare cheese cubes. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper.

Wrap bacon slices around each cheese cube. Secure with wooden sticks.

Place on paper toweling in a microsafe baking dish.

Microwave at HIGH power for 1 to 2 minutes until cheese starts melting and bacon is done to your liking.

Garnish with cherry tomatoes and serve.

REMEMBER: Don't try to microwave the tomatoes. They will explode in the oven.

Always cook bacon on paper toweling. And cover the paper toweling to avoid spattering.

Different cheese cook at different times. To check for the special cheese you are using, cook one or two small sticks for one minute. If cheese is soft and melting, adjust cooking time for the large batch.
