CANNED APPLE PIE FILLING 
7 quarts apples
10 c. water
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cornstarch
4 tbsp. lemon juice
4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt

Mix dry ingredients in large pan. Slowly add water. Cook until thick. Add lemon juice. Fill 7 quart jars to neck with sliced apples. Add cooked mixture to top of apples in jars.

Process in a boiling water bath for 25.
