CANNED APPLE PIE FILLING 
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
10 c. water
Apples

Cook all ingredients (except apples) until thick and bubbly. It will be kind of a clear color. Pack 6 (1-quart) jars with apples, pour cooked liquid over all. Boil 20 minutes in hot water bath.

NOTE: Filling is all ready for your crust for out of season occasions.
