CABBAGE BEEF SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes (or 1/2 lb. fresh tomatoes, chopped)
3 c. beef stock (or you can use 3 beef bouillon cubes & 3 c. water)
2 tbsp. tomato paste
1 (10 oz.) can kidney beans with liquid
3 c. sliced cabbage
1 tsp. salt (omit if using bouillon cubes)
1/2 tsp. pepper

Brown ground beef, onions and garlic. Drain well. Add to rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer about 1 hour.
