BANANA CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. (2 to 3) very ripe mashed bananas
1/2 c. sour cream or yogurt
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. pecans or walnuts

Cream the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add bananas and sour cream or yogurt. Sift remaining ingredients together; add to make batter. Butter and flour a 9 inch tube pan; pour in batter. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown, about 50 minutes. Cool 5 minutes; turn out on rack.
