FAVORITE BANANA CAKE 
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter
4 egg whites or 2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/4 c. lemon yogurt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 inch pan. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Cream butter, add sugar and cream again. Beat in egg whites, one at a time. Mix bananas, vanilla, and yogurt. Add flour mixture to butter mixture in 3 parts, alternating with banana mixture. After each addition, stir until smooth. Bake 1/2 hour or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Spread on Lemon Glaze.

LEMON GLAZE:

1 to 1 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. lemon or orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix until smooth, spread on warm cake.
