GRAPE NUTS SOUTHERN PIE | |
3/4 cup Grapenuts cereal (Post) 1/2 cup warm water 3 eggs, well beaten 3/4 cup sugar 3 tbsp. butter, melted 1 cup dark corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell Prepared whipped topping Combine cereal and water; let stand until water is absorbed. Blend eggs, sugar, butter, syrup, vanilla and salt. Fold in softened cereal. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes or until filling is puffed completely across top. Cool and add whipped topping. |
