6 c. mashed potatoes
2 tsp. salt
2 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. finely minced onion
1 sm. clove of garlic
1/2 c. shredded American cheese

Combine all ingredients, reserving a little cheese to sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. May be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until time to bake. 8 servings.
