BROWN BEANS 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 lb. bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
1 (28-oz) can Bush's baked beans
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Brown the ground beef and onion; drain. If needed, add a tsp. of olive oil if beef is very lean.

Add remaining ingredients. Cover and bake in a 325°F oven for 45 minutes.

May be made a day ahead or frozen if keeping for a longer time. Recipe may be doubled and separated into portions for packaging in food saver packages or freezer jars.
