NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
Sift:

4 c. flour
2 tsp. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. salt

Cut in:

1 3/4 c. Crisco

Mix:

1 egg
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. cold water

Add wet ingredients to flour/shortening mixture. Mix well. Pat down in bowl. Store covered in refrigerator at least 1/2 hour before using. Roll thin. Keeps a week in refrigerator. Freezes well.
