DR. PEPPER CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. Dr. Pepper
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Sift together sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to a boil in saucepan. Add butter, cooking oil, cocoa, and Dr. Pepper. Mix with sifted items. Add 2 beaten eggs, vanilla, buttermilk, and soda. Bake at 350 degrees until cake is done.

DR. PEPPER FROSTING:

1 stick butter
6 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. Dr. pepper
1 tsp. vanilla
Nutmeats, if desired

Bring above ingredients to a boil and pour over 1 1/2 pounds of powdered sugar. Add vanilla and nutmeats.

I was concerned with the outcome of the cake because I noticed that the other recipes don't use cooking oil. The cake is very moist and tasty. I baked it at 325°F because I was using a dark, non-stick pan and baked it for 35 minutes.
