FOR DEREK THE COP -- Bravo for being a "Real Man" and learning to cook and help your wife and new baby!! Sides with BBQ Ribs are rice as you did, coleslaw, or any green salad, or we like potato salad or macaroni salad. Down South and in Texas they can serve Cornbread but a good French Bread is always great to sop up the juices. :-) Best of luck with cooking and Congratulations on a new baby,

This recipe was delicious!! I love the Mustard base in it. They only changes I made were I added 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and I put the ribs in a roaster and covered them for the 1st hour then for the 45 minutes, I left the cover off.

Good recipe. Maybe will try adding balsamic vinegar instead of red wine vinegar.

I added 2 tsp liquid smoke and a dash of hot sauce we like a little kick, and since they aren't bbq'd I thought the liquid smoke would enhance the flavours! Yum

I didn't make this yet,but need to say - the best way to make ribs is to remove the thin membrane on the underside of the ribs first. It sometimes is hard to do. Find the membrane and slowly pull it off. This will make a difference always. I do not make ribs without doing this first. Please try it. I will try this recipe but remove the thin membrane first. This allows all the fat to drip off instead of staying inside the ribs.
