“OVEN BAKED BEEF RIBS” IS IN:

OVEN BAKED BEEF RIBS 
4 lb. beef spareribs, cut in twos

SAUCE:

1/2 cup brewed coffee
1/2 cup ketchup (Hunts)
1/4 cup sugar
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. grated onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 clove minced garlic

In a saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients. Bring them to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Place the ribs, curved side down, in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a hot (500°F) oven for 10 minutes.

Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F and bake 1 1/2 hours longer.

Bake one more hour, basting ribs frequently with sauce mixture until they are tender.

Note: If any sauce remains, serve it with the beef.
