BLUEBERRY TORTE 
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 can blueberry pie filling

Mix sugar and oil together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla, followed by dry ingredients which have been mixed together. Mix thoroughly and pour 3/4 of the batter into an 8 x 8 inch cake pan. Spread evenly and top with blueberry pie filling.

Drop spoonfuls of remaining batter on top of the blueberry filling and swirl slightly to marbelize. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown. You may use strawberry or cherry pie filling.
