PAPERSACK CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 qts. popped popcorn

In a 2 quart microwave safe bowl combine the brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes. Stirring after half of the cooking time until the mixture is light brown. Add the baking soda. Stir to blend. the mixture will lighten and foam. Spray a large paper bag with a non stick spray. Add half the corn then half the syrup. Stir mixture. Repeat. Close the bag and shake well. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake well. Cool before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
