HASH BROWN POTATOES (COUNTRY
STYLE)
 
1 (2 lb. pkg.) frozen hash brown potatoes
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, cubed
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 med. onion, chopped and sauteed in 2 tsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Mix all ingredients together except for potatoes. Put potatoes in large buttered baking dish. Pour mixture over potatoes and sprinkle with topping. (9 x 13 inch dish or pan).

TOPPING:

Mix 2 cups crushed cornflakes and 1/2 stick melted butter. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Serves 25.
