2 c. butter (no substitutes) 2 c. brown sugar 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 4 c. flour 5 c. old-fashioned oatmeal (put in blender to make flour) 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda 1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar, grated 1 (24 oz.) bag chocolate chips 3 c. nuts Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Combine all ingredients together, then add Hershey bar, chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 375°F for 6 minutes. Do not overbake. Arrange cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart to leave room for spreading Make golf ball size cookies placed 2-inches apart. Yield: 100 cookies. |
