IMPERIAL POUND CAKE 
3 sticks butter
1 lb. box of Imperial powdered sugar
6 eggs
1 powdered sugar box of flour sifted 3 times
1 tsp. lemon juice or flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla

Have all ingredients at room temperature. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs mixing well after each, gradually add flour, then flavoring. Bake in well greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.

For Western pound cake substitute brown sugar.
