IMPERIAL POUND CAKE 
1 lb. Imperial butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter until creamy. Sift in powdered sugar a little at a time while beating. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla and fold in flour. Bake in ungreased tube pan that has bottom lined with wax paper. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Recipe is for 1 lb. Imperial margarine but they have changed the margarine formulation. Good substitute is Land 'o Lakes margarine.
