GILDED LILY PEAR CRISP 
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, divided
1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
1/4 c. golden raisins
1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
5 Bartlett pears, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp. brandy

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine flour, brown sugar and 6 tablespoons butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Gently stir in nuts, raisins and chocolate, mixing thoroughly.

3. Place pear slices in a 2 quart baking dish (or 13x9x2 inch).

4. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter in small saucepan. Stir in brandy. Pour over pears; toss until coated. Sprinkle raisin-nut mixture over all.

5. Bake until pears are soft and topping lightly browned, about 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
