MEXICAN CORN BREAD 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. cornmeal
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. bacon drippings
1 can creamed corn
3 jalapeno peppers
1/2 lb. grated cheese
2 eggs

Brown egg and drain. Mix together remaining ingredients except cheese. Grease large skillet and layer - corn mixture, then beef, then cheese.
