ITALIAN PEPPERS 
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. sugar
Garlic powder to taste
Dash of salt
Red pepper to taste
Water
Green peppers, cut in 4-6 pieces

Combine all and cook 2 hours in covered pan. Add cut up green peppers and cook until tender crisp, about 20 minutes. May can the peppers in pint jars.
