BAKED STUFFED PORK CHOPS 
1 c. diced apples
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. hot water
4 pork chops, 1 1/2" thick with pocket
1/2 c. water

About 4 servings: Mix together apples, bread crumbs, salt and sugar. Saute onion in butter 5 minutes; add to bread mixture. Add hot water and blend. Sprinkle salt, pepper on inside of pocket. Fill pockets with stuffing, fasten with toothpicks or poultry pins. Brown chops well on both sides.

Place in casserole or 8 x 8 x 2 inch cake pan. Add water to dripping in fry pan; stir to loosen brown sediment; pour around chops. Cover casserole or use aluminum foil on cake pan. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees. Uncover last 15 minutes.
