TACO SALAD 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning
3 tomatoes
1 med. onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 bag crushed taco chips
1 can dark red kidney beans
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lg. head lettuce
1 green pepper, chopped
4 tbsp. bacon bits or Bacos
1 (8 oz.) bottle Western dressing

Brown meat. Drain. Stir in beans, chili powder, salt, and taco seasoning. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Let cool. Combine with other ingredients and just before serving, add lettuce and chips.
