GINGER SNAP COOKIES | |
3/4 c. shortening 1 c. packed brown sugar 1 egg 1/4 c. molasses 2 1/4 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. ground ginger 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/4 tsp. salt Mix together shortening, brown sugar, egg, and molasses. Then add rest of ingredients. Blend well; cover and chill for 1 hour. Roll in small balls, dip in sugar. Bake sugar side up. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. |
