SALMON LOAF 
1 can salmon
1 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 sm. onion, chopped

Mix together salmon, drained, bread crumbs, milk, salt, egg and butter. Also, onion. Shape salmon into a loaf. Put into a greased pan. Add dots of butter on top of loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until light brown. Note: Save drained salmon liquid for sauce.

SALMON SAUCE:

2 tbsp. butter
2 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
Salmon liquid

Melt butter in pan. Let butter cool. Add flour. Mix well. Put pan back on stove and let bubble for a minute, until flour is cooked. Cool and add milk and all the salmon liquid. Cooking again, stirring constantly, until it boils and gets slightly thick. Then pour over salmon loaf.
