LASAGNA ROLL UPS 
4 qts. water
4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. oil
8 pieces lasagna pasta
1 qt. prepared spaghetti sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
12 oz. cottage cheese
1 egg, beaten
Grated Parmesan cheese, if desired

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil water in large deep pot with 4 teaspoons salt and oil. Add lasagna; stir. Cook uncovered after water returns to full boil for 10-12 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.

Spread 2 cups spaghetti sauce over bottom of 13 x 9 baking dish. Brown meat with onion, salt, basil, and pepper. Add bread crumbs, cheeses, and egg.

Cut each lasagna noodle in half crosswise; spread 3 tablespoons of meat mixture evenly on each half. Roll up from shorter side and place seam down in pan. Pour remaining sauce over top. Cover and bake for 1 hour. Serve with sauce and Parmesan cheese if desired. Serves 8.
