PICKLED WIENERS (HOT DOGS) 
4 (1 lb.) pkg. wieners into bite-sized pieces
2 lg. onions, thinly sliced
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. salt
4 tsp. cumin
4 1/2 oz. pepper sauce
4 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. pickling spices
1 1/2 tsp. whole black pepper

Combine slice onion with wieners. Mix rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Put onions and wieners in a jar and pour sauce over them. Cover tightly. Refrigerate several days before serving.

Pretty disgusting. I cut 'em in four and buy 2 lb. (1/2 the recipe) once a month. I use a mandolin to slice the onions, makes nice rings you can spear with a fork!
