TEA CAKES 
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
7 c. flour

Mix dry ingredients. Add whipped eggs, grease and buttermilk and water. Add flour half at a time. Roll on floured board. Cut with cookie cutter. Bake on cookie sheet about 10 minutes. Can sprinkle sugar over dough before cutting cookies. Makes about 6 dozen. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees.
