ROSETTES 
1 1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. lemon flavoring

Beat eggs, milk, salt and sugar. Add flour and flavoring and mix well. Fry in hot fat with rosette iron (350 to 360 degrees). Makes about 6 dozen. Freezes well in Ziploc bags. Dip in powdered sugar or granulated sugar before serving.

TIPS: IF batter does not stick to the iron, it is too hot. If batter does not come off iron, the iron is too cold.
