CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
3 sticks butter
8 oz. cream cheese
3 c. sugar
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs
3 c. sifted flour

Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add salt and vanilla. Beat well. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. After each addition. Stir in flour. Spoon into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees about 1 1/4 hours.

Note: Can make chocolate pound cake by sifting 1/2 cup cocoa with flour. Can be baked in three 8 inch loaf pans.

Very good and moist. I cooked some cherry jelly and butter to a boil and then added powdered sugar to make glaze. Was very good.
