BARBEQUE SPARE RIBS 
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. catsup
3/4 c. water
1 onion - chopped
1 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dry mustard

Combine all ingredients and cook until thick. Cut meat into serving pieces. Place in a large pan, meaty side up and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in a 450 degree oven for 45 minutes. Spread sauce over meat, reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Sauce can be used for many meats.
