FROZEN BREAD AND BUTTER PICKLES 
7 c. unpeeled, thinly sliced cucumbers
1 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed

Layer onions and cucumbers in large bowl. Sprinkle salt over and stir thoroughly. Let stand covered overnight in refrigerator. Drain well. Combine sugar, vinegar and celery seed. Stir until smooth and sugar is dissolved. Pour over cucumbers in large bowl and let stand overnight in refrigerator. Place in jars, cover with juice, seal and freeze.
