NO COOK BREAD 'N BUTTER STYLE
PICKLES
 
In a large bowl mix together:

2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed

Let stand for an hour or so. Stir frequently. Slice thinly:

7 c. cucumbers
1 c. onions, (red onions look nice)

Put the cucumber slices and onion slices into a large air tight container that has a GOOD TIGHT SEAL. Pour the first mixture over the sliced cucumbers and onions. Mix well. Put the tight sealing lid on the container. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight, turning the container over after a few hours.

These must be kept refrigerated, and will keep for several days in the refrigerator. They may be frozen for later use. (Put into smaller containers as desired.)
