CRUNCH MUFFINS 
1 1/4 c. unsifted flour
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. crunchy nut-like cereal nuggets
1 c. milk
1 egg
3 tbsp. liquid shortening

In bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cereal. In a small bowl whisk together milk, egg and shortening. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients and stir just enough to moisten flour. Spoon into greased muffin pans. Bake at 400 degrees 20 minutes until brown. Good served warm.
