CINNAMON CRUNCH MUFFINS 
1 c. Quaker whole wheat cereal, uncooked
1 c. flour
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. butter, melted

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 12 medium muffin cups or line with paper baking cups. Combine dry ingredients. Add milk, egg and butter; mix just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fill prepared muffin cups 2/3 full.

TOPPING:

1/3 c. Quaker whole wheat cereal, uncooked
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. finely chopped nuts (opt.)
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Combine remaining ingredients except butter; mix well. Cut in butter until crumbly; sprinkle over top of batter. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
