SUSAN'S CREAMED TUNA ON TOAST
This meal is quick, easy and affordable!

3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
salt and pepper, to taste
1 (15 oz.) can peas, drained
2 (5 oz. ea) cans white Tuna fish, drained

Melt butter and make a paste with flour, then slowly add milk while you are whisking it together.

Once this is becoming thick, add salt and pepper, canned peas and tuna. Stir it really good.

Then toast bread and ladle mixture onto toast.

Can feed 4 people easy.

Ate this as a kid WAAAAY back in the mid 50s. My mom would make this at least once a week. She always served this on Dutch Rusks, w/a bit of butter, of course. Try it with the rusk!!
