RIBS AND SAUERKRAUT 
3 lb. pork ribs
1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut
3 med. potatoes, peeled & sliced
1/3 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. chopped pimento
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 med. onion, sliced
1/2 c. barbecue sauce

Place ribs, meaty side down, in a roasting pan. Roast at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, drain fat. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees.

Combine kraut, potatoes, broth, pimento and celery seed. Place in 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Place onions on kraut mixture. Place ribs, meaty side up, in center of dish and sprinkle with salt. Brush ribs with B-B-Q sauce. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
