4 lbs. (2 mixed and 2 cashews)
1 box each of wheat, rice & corn Chex
1 box Cheerios
2 pkgs. pretzels
1 lg. bag regular size Fritos
2 c. oil
3 tsp. Tabasco sauce
2 tsp. garlic salt
2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine spices in oil and heat until warm. Combine cereals, nuts, pretzels and chips in large roaster. Pour oil mixture over cereal mixture and stir. Roast, uncovered at 200 degrees for 2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes. Taste, garlic salt and chili powder can be added. Cool, store in air tight containers (coffee cans work nice).

Makes 16 to 20 coffee cans full.

I had a neighbor years ago who used to make this and I hadn't thought about it in years. I wasn't able to get her recipe but I thought yours looked pretty good (although I didn't add the Fritos). I baked them, stirring them according to the directions, and the mix at the bottom of the pan is just swimming in oil. Does it need to be dried out somehow before storing? I put a thin layer on a cookie sheet in the oven at 200°F to see if that dries it out some
