2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 egg 2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder

Cream together cream cheese, butter and sugar. Add egg. Add dry ingredients. Mix and chill above. Roll out on LOTS of flour. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 8 minutes. These cookies are not meant to brown. You may decorate with frosting.
