1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 plus c. flour

Mix above ingredients in order. Add enough flour to make a stiff dough. Roll about 1 tsp. of dough in hand to make small balls. Roll balls in sugar. Place on cookie sheet, then mash with a fork. Bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
