GRAMY AND ALI'S TOLL HOUSE
COOKIES
 
1/2 c. Crisco
6 tbsp. brown sugar (heaping, not level)
6 level tbsp. white sugar
1 1/3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips

Blend together Crisco and brown sugar and white sugar until creamy. Then add egg and beat with wooden spoon. Then add flour and baking soda and stir well with wooden spoon. Then add vanilla and chocolate chips and mix well. Place teaspoon size batter on cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees. Cook 8 to 10 minutes; check frequently and remove from cookie sheet while hot. Makes 50 to 60 cookies.
