I just put mine in the crockpot for dinner tonight! I took advice and added apples! I'm just afraid there is not enough juice at the bottom of the pot.

This has to be the best pork roast recipe I have ever made. I did add one very large apple. Cut up(leave skin on apple) and placed around the roast with some apple on top after all other ingredients was poured over the roast, roast used was about 2 lbs. I will make this again.

This was a GREAT recipe! I used a 4 1/2 pound pork roast and it was DE-licious!! Used my brand new Crock Pot, and set the timer to nine hours! PERFECT! Ground up fresh cranberries, and was a little heavy on the nutmeg and clove! I like spices! I made mashed sweet potatoes, with cinnamon and nutmeg, and stuffing, using chicken stock, and cut up raisins and dried apricots and tossed them in, too! Crock Pot, toaster oven and a pan! No oven! FAN-tastic! I'll toss in an apple next time!

I can't wait to try this soon, it sounds so DELICIOUS :) I'm going to add diced sweet potatoes :) I love sweet potatoes with pork roast, I've put canned cranberry sauce in pork roast but never used fresh green berries so I'll give it a shot :)
