MEAT CRUST RICE PIE 
1 lb. ground beef (lean)
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/4 c. onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. tomato sauce

Combine and mix well. Pat mixture into bottom and sides of a greased 9 inch pie pan. 1 c. water 1 1/3 c. instant rice 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. grated cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine above ingredients. Spoon into meat shell. Bake for 25 minutes covered with foil. Uncover, top with 4 to 6 slices tomatoes and 1/2 cup grated cheese. Bake uncovered 10 to 15 minutes more. Cut in wedges and serve.
